Kindling Faith in partnership with Lower Susquehanna, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware-Maryland Synods invite you into a community-centered journey towards freedom and healing with the Joan Trumpauer Mulholland Foundation and United Lutheran Seminary Convocation keynote speakers and civil rights activists, Joan and Loki Mulholland.
Congregations, nonprofit organizations, and ministry partner aligned small businesses are all invited to attend our inspiring event highlighting the story of Joan’s experience as a Freedom Rider and civil rights activist who participated in over 50 sit-ins and demonstrations by the time she was 23 years old. Then deepen the learning deepen the learning with practical application and relationship building. Making a contribution and registering invites your congregation or organization to engage in a 12-week inclusion and belonging curriculum for racial reconciliation. Especially designed for accessibility and interaction, with reduced fees supplemented by synod support, we hope this opportunity for congregations to engage history and hope will lead us together toward transformational next steps as the Body of Christ in building the Beloved Community.
